Idec PS6R Power Supplies NEW!

PS6R power supplies bring a previously unseen combination of features, including high efficiency (93%), high power, and expansion flexibility, all in a housing that is the same size as power supplies with half the power. The new 480W version has a housing that is similar in overall size to most 240W power supplies on the market today.

The PS6R has a unique expansion capability, which provides ultimate flexibility for engineers, and is ideal for applications where panel space is at a premium. Expansion options include DC-DC converters, allowing 24V output along with 5V and 12V outputs, from a single power supply! An optional branch terminal unit expands the number 24V terminals available for connecting electronic devices.

PS6R meets all global standards and approvals, including UL 508, CSA C22.2 No. 107.1, along with EN60950-1, EN50178, and EN61204-3. Universal voltage input (100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz) enables use in any location. It features finger-safe terminals with captive spring-up screws, IP20 rating, and -10 to +70C operating temperature range. Multiple mounting options increase the flexibility – PS6R can be mounted on DIN rail, or attached directly to a panel with your choice of either standard or side mounting bracket. These progressive features combine to make PS6R the most advanced industrial switching power supply available.
